Education

Considering a joint venture in China? Keen to open a dialogue on research collaboration with a Chinese university? Writing a story on China and unsure where to start? Organising or joining an official trip to the country?

UK-China Transparency, in partnership with a small boutique consultancy, Velaryn, offers a range of education packages for audiences within the UK’s government, Parliament and devolved administrations, for journalists, for people working within the academic sector, for businesses, and for NGOs.

Such packages, although based on a core of uniquely developed knowledge, are designed to meet the precise needs of each audience and can be tailored to be contained within periods of between two hours and two days.

Longer periods contain active sessions, involving seminar work, and can also include role play and workshops.

With years of expertise within our team in developing and delivering practical and memorable education for executive leaders, our sessions incorporate information about the Chinese political system, its ruling Party, its organs and mechanisms for building and maintaining strategic influence, and its objectives.

Our education solutions help people build their understanding of China and assist in making them more resilient to manipulation, less prone to mistakes, and better prepared strategically.

We have also developed a one-day course in general open-source research for researchers, academics and journalists.
