Further Information
In spite of our significant impact and output, we are a small organisation.
Since our founding, our income has been less than £150,000, with the vast majority (roughly 90%) coming from British citizens donating as individuals, including donations from our trustees Andrew Robinson, Sir Bernard Silverman and Martin Village.
We have been fortunate to enjoy volunteer support in various forms, including from our research volunteers and our director, who worked pro bono for the charity initially.
The remaining fraction of our funding consists mostly of two grants totalling less than £10,000 from a British charity, just under £5,000 from a small consultancy with which we partner to provide educational training and resources to government, business, universities and other organisations, plus less than £1,000 in speaker fees from an arms-length body of the British government, less than £500 from subscriptions to our Substack blog, and an even smaller sum (less than >0.2% of our total funding) made up of very small donations from individuals residing abroad.
Further information on our funding can be found in our annual reports, which are published here.
