Over the past two weeks, UK-China Transparency has published hundreds of pages of data on UK universities’ financial ties to China and on the role of Chinese Students and Scholars Associations (CSSAs) on campus.
These two datasets, available for anyone to browse in our digital library, represent the bulk of primary data not already in the public domain that has been in the production of two research reports by Civitas and the Henry Jackson Society, two think tanks. Both reports were widely covered in the media.
UKCT is publishing them in the interests of wider and deeper scholarship: so that researchers, journalists, academics and policy-makers interested in the reports’ findings can dig deeper into the evidence.
In each cases, the data itself is accompanied by a short document that acts as a guide to the data. In each case, this document has been produced by UK-China Transparency.
Anyone who has a question about the data should email it to [email protected]
